CAAS EXTENSIONS
SDM

They are made of 100% carbon prepreg in lengths of 200mm, 300mm and 400mm execution, which includes extensions longer than 300mm. The extenstion represents the rigid part of the mast; therefore, we recommend lengths up to 300mm, because the constant curve of masts can change too much in case of longer extensions. This can lead to the insufficiently expressed sail line after stretching. The extension are adjustable to 25mm; the lower level is 50mm. The height of the adjustment is determined with a clamp, which slides over the extension, and an inox bolt. The foot of the extension is in conformity with the EU pin standard. The highest setting on the extension reaches 80mm into the mast bottom.
